Wrexham AFC hosted an event as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning with Macmillan Cancer Support, raising £170.
Held in the 1864 Suite in the STōK Cae Ras between 10.00am-midday, the Wrexham AFC Community Trust along with supporters and members of the community came down to raise vital funds for the growing number of people living across the UK with cancer.
Cancer can affect anyone, and it impacts every part of your life. Macmillan provides financial, physical, and emotional support for people living with cancer.
During the Coffee Morning, there was a chance to have tea and eat cake, whilst taking part in the Macmillan quiz.

Speaking on the event and raising vital funds at the event, Head of the Wrexham AFC Community Trust John Widdowson said: “As a community Club it was great to be able to host events such as today.
“As we’ve seen recently with the tragic events surrounding Ben Tozer, we have a close affiliation to support a number of charities within this area.
“It’s fantastic to support Macmillan and the work that they do is really important for all of us.”
