THIS year marks the highest number of Early Careers new starters to join Airbus in the UK in more than a decade.
In Broughton, Airbus has welcomed a record 279 apprentices, graduates and interns as part of its 2023 intake.
Airbus Head of Broughton site, Jerome Blandin, said: "It's fantastic to have a record intake of Early Careers starters at our Airbus Broughton site this year. We have a long history of offering various programmes through Early Careers and over the past 10 years, we have employed almost 4,000 graduates, apprentices and interns.
"This summer we've welcomed 279 new interns, apprentices and graduates and it's safe to say they have hit the ground running with their enthusiasm for the aviation industry.
"We're looking forward to this budding young talent bringing new perspectives to how we do things at Airbus."
Joshua Kelley, an intern in the Airbus Broughton team, said: "Having the opportunity to join Airbus as an intern is a real privilege. I see it as a place where, over the course of the year, I can really hone my skills and get experience in a variety of situations, working with people on a local, national and transnational level. I'm stoked to be part of the Broughton team!"
