POLICE have warned that people's cars are being targeted in the Deeside area.
North Wales Police say that they have received reports of people trying to enter cars in Connah's Quay.
As such, they are warning residents to keep their vehicles locked and ensure that no valuables are left in them overnight.
Patrols have been stepped up in the area in order to try and deter incidents like this from taking place, police say.
PCSO Thomas Maddocks of the NWP North Flintshire team said: "We are receiving reports that persons have been trying to enter car vehicles in Connah's Quay, if you have a vehicle please ensure it is locked and no valuables are kept inside.

"We are doing increased patrols at times when the attempts have been reported."
