AFTER a windy weekend, the Met Office predicts a drier and brighter week ahead for Wrexham and Flintshire.
There will be a dry and bright start to the new working week today (Monday September, 25) with plenty of sunny spells. Scattered showers will develop from the west into the afternoon, but will stay dry for most. Maximum temperature will be 19 °C.
As we head into the evening, showers will ease through leaving plenty of clear spells. Lighter winds will allow patchy mist and fog to prone in spots. It will also be a little cooler than recent nights with a minimum temperature of 10 °C.

A Met Office spokesperson said: "Tomorrow (Tuesday, 26) the mist and fog will quickly leave a changeable day with more widespread showers, sometimes heavy with a risk of thunder. It will be particularly windy at western coasts but will ease into the afternoon. Maximum temperature will be 18 °C."
The outlook for the second half of the week predicts more persistent rain on Wednesday, turning very windy with severe gales. Thursday and Friday will be less windy with further rain and showers. Temperatures will also remain closer to average.
