A YOUNG Wrexham shop assistant has received wonderful praise after always showing kindness to his customers.
Alexander Robertson, 26, has received many compliments on social media this week after one happy customer shared her positive experience being serviced by him on social media.
He works in the Premier Express Hightown Convenience store, formerly and still known as 'Sheila's' in Wrexham.
Customer Steph Louise praised Alex on having the best customer service after he was extremely polite and kind towards her. She said: "Sometimes it's just that little bit of kindness we all need. I was having a bad day and he made it that bit better. Such a gent. I hope your loved ones are proud.
"I think the kind people in life should always be celebrated."
Elin Roberts replied to the post and said: "Alex has the best customer service skills in Wrexham" while Su Edwards said: "Alex is a lovely lad, always goes above and beyond."
Alex has worked at the shop for eight years, starting his position when he was 18-years-old and is described as a credit by all his regular customers.
He said: "I was taken aback when I saw the comments but felt very pleased and proud by what I read.
"It's overwhelming to read so much positivity. I'm grateful to all the nice people who have taken the time to say lovely things."
