WREXHAM Police FC are set to take on the cast of a channel 4 soap for their next charity match.
On Sunday, October, 22, Wrexham Police FC will continue their wonderful fundraising endeavours by taking on the cast of Hollyoaks at Airbus Broughton.
Sergeant Dave Smith, Wrexham Police FC founder, reached out to Hollyoaks cast member Nick Pickard, who plays Tony in the show, to organise the game. The full list of players has not yet been confirmed.
The charity match will kick off at 4pm in an attempt to raise crucial funds for The Blue Light Card Foundation. Donations can be made at the gate or online here.
The Blue Light Card Foundation grants funds to life-enhancing projects to support the health and wellbeing of all the blue light services such as police, ambulance and fire service.

Sgt Dave Smith said: "I’d like to thank Nick Pickard and the cast of Hollyoaks for agreeing to play us.
"Their support will help raise awareness and funding for a great cause that supports the health and wellbeing of emergency service workers.
"We’re now finding that we are reaching a much wider audience with support and match requests from across the UK.
"The match is for yet another very worthy cause and we can't wait to get stuck in. Donations of any amount big or small really will help make a difference."
