A FAMILY-RUN furniture shop business in Flintshire is thought to be the victim of an arson attack.
A fire broke out behind the Coast Road Furniture store in Connah's Quay on Sunday evening.
It involved a container used by the business to recycle furniture. The container was destroyed in the blaze - which also cracked the shop's rear window due to the heat of the fire. The shop's two heat exchanges melted and its roof suffered some heat damage.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the fire is thought to have been started deliberately.

Tom Hughes, whose dad, Andy, runs the business, said: "The fire was started in one of our recycling storage units last night.
"We are fortunate that it's been wet recently as otherwise the fire would have spread through the foliage into the park behind us and to our building. The police are looking into it and have taken images from our CCTV."
He continued: "It could have been a lot worse and we're glad it was limited to what it was. It does however make our life much harder when it comes to recycling, and the added cost of clean up isn't pleasant.
"We have had problems lately of kids breaking the lock to gain entry. I can't see another way the fire could have started if not deliberately."
