A STRETCH of a main A road in Wrexham will be closed in both directions overnight this week.
Traffic Wales has warned motorists that the A5 from the Halton roundabout to Glredrid roundabout will be closed for the next three nights for carriageway repairs.
The closure will come into effect at 8pm tonight (Monday, September 11). The road will reopen at 6am on Tuesday. It will then close on Tuesday and Wednesday night during the same time period.

Traffic travelling south will be diverted to A5 Whitehurst roundabout and will follow the solid black triangle symbolised diversion route through Chirk on the B5070.
Traffic travelling north will be diverted at Gledrid roundabout onto the B5070 and will follow the solid black square symbolised diversion route through Chirk on the B5070.
Traffic will take the 2nd exit on Whitehurst roundabout then re-join the A5 at Halton roundabout.
