FIREFIGHTERS were called to an overturned car incident in a Flintshire town. 

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said it was called at 1.20pm on Friday to the incident on West View, near Bryn Garmon - close to Mold town centre. 

Firefighters attended amid reports of a possible person trapped inside the vehicle - which had overturned. However, all persons had excited the car upon their arrival. 

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 1.15pm to a road traffic accident on Bryn Garmon in Mold, and sent a rapid response car and an emergency ambulance to the scene.

"One person was subsequently taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital for further treatment."
