PLANS have been submitted for the creation of a new traveller site in Flintshire.
An planning application has been lodged with Flintshire Council for a traveller family site on land north of Chester Road in Flint.
There would be provision for three static caravans and three trailer caravans. Each of the three pitches would consist of one static home, one trailer caravan and two parking spaces.

The scheme would also include the erection of a day room, boundary fencing, the installation of a septic tank and landscaping with access from Chester Road.
The site is located on previously developed land, which covers approximately 1,800sm.
The application will now be considered by Flintshire Council's planning department at a later date.
