THE warm weather is set to continue across Wrexham and Flintshire this weekend.
Following weeks of wet and miserable weather, the region has had its first bit of hot weather this week with temperatures reaching 28C over the past few days.
The Met Office is forecasting that the sunny weather will continue throughout the weekend, with temperatures set to a reach a high of 27C in Flintshire and Wrexham.
While Friday and Saturday will stay sunny, there is a chance that it may become cloudy on Sunday.
The weather experts say that temperatures look set to drop at the start of next week to around 17C.

A Met Office spokesperson said: "Today - Any low cloud burning back to the coasts through the morning leaving another mostly dry and very warm day, with decent periods of sunshine. However, an isolated afternoon shower is possible in the east, perhaps thundery. Maximum temperature 27 °C."
"Tonight - Any showers soon dying out. Then dry with clear spells for many overnight, although areas of low cloud, mist and fog forming. Uncomfortably warm. Minimum temperature 18 °C."
"Saturday - Another very warm, mostly dry and sunny day, after a grey start in places. However, low cloud affecting some coasts, and a small chance of an afternoon shower, perhaps thundery. Maximum temperature 28 °C."
"Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday - A greater chance of showers which may turn very heavy and thundery. Staying very warm and humid, although temperatures slowly decreasing into the new week. Brighter and fresher later."
