THE award-winning Welcome to Wrexham has returned to our screens with the release of the first episode of season two.
The docuseries tracking the success and failures of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as owners of Wrexham AFC proved to be a hit across the world after it premiered last year.
A year on and it is back, with a bumper 40-minute episode being released on Disney+ yesterday (September 13).

The synopsis of Episode One, titled "Welcome Back to Wrexham" is as follows: "A new football season begins as the town, the team and owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney prepare to welcome King Charles III."
Without giving too much away for when you tune in to watch, here are five things you can expect from the first episode.
1. Etiquette lessons - Ahead of the visit of King Charles III, Ryan and Rob head for lessons in grace and decorum to prepare.
The royal visit and the reasoning behind it are explained on what was a historic day for the city and football club.
2. KOP funding - Viewers get an insight into the history of the Kop at the Racecourse Ground, as well as what Ryan and Rob plan to do with it.
You also get to see the reaction to the unsuccessful levelling up funding bid...
3. Phil's enthusiasm - Season one viewers will know exactly what Phil Parkinson's enthusiasm looks like and it's safe to say it hasn't gone anywhere for season two.
Viewers get an early look as to just how important winning is to the Wrexham boss.

4. New faces - Some of Wrexham's off-season signings are introduced to fans, including Elliot Lee and Mark Howard.
5. Pressure - The need for promotion is made very clear from the start of episode one.
Season one ended in play-off heartbreak at the Stok Cae Ras and Ryan, Rob and Humphrey Ker state the importance of getting promoted in the second season.
