THE WREXHAM Police Football team's latest match has seen them collect £200 for Alder Hey Children's Hospital.
The officers took on Everton FC podcasters 'Talking Toffees' in their latest fixture played out in Wrexham on Sunday, September 3.
An entertaining contest saw the police side run out 6-4 winners on the day.
Organiser, Sgt Dave Smith said: "It was a really end-to-end match, and the heat made it challenging for both teams."

Sgt Smith added: "But it was all played in the right spirit. The Talking Toffees team are a great bunch and a lot of new friendships have been made, so a rematch is definitely on the cards.
"Collectively we're really happy with the funds raised for Alder Hey - a brilliant hospital that provides vital care for young patients across the North West and North Wales.
"We're grateful for all the online messages of support we had from former Everton players, like Kev Ratcliffe, Kev Sheedy, Neville Southall, Barry Horne, Tony Cottee who all helped us promote the match.
"We'd also really like to thank the Events Medical Team for their continued support and expert medical care at our charity matches."
