One person said: "The amount of people who have come to celebrate today with you is testament to how well thought of you truly are. What an incredible achievement and long may you continue to be the best landlady ever."
Among those to praise Bethan is Wrexham Lager.
The company posted on its Facebook page saying: "A huge congratulations to Bethan Roberts, who over the weekend, celebrated running the Cross Foxes Pub, Penycae, for 30 years!
"Various pub companies have owned the Cross Foxes in the past meaning Wrexham Lager was not able to be sold over the bar. But, much to Bethan’s and the pub-goers joy, a local family bought the pub, became a free house and Wrexham Lager has been poured ever since!
"The Cross Foxes thrives on community spirit, has raised thousands for various charities, and as Bethan guarantees, will always have its doors open to anyone for a warm welcome and a cold pint of locally brewed Wrexham Lager waiting on the bar. Iechyd Da!"
