TRIBUTES have been paid to a woman who was a "massive part of the community" in Wrexham after her tragic sudden death.
Karen Ann Jones, from Caia Park, went to bed on Tuesday last week but never woke up.
A subsequent post-mortem found that the 47-year-old sadly died of bronchopneumonia.
Wife of Keith, Karen was a mum-of-four and grandma to Nyla, Tiarna and Leo. She was a popular member of the Caia Park community and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
As a testament to her character, a GoFundMe page set up to help her family with funeral costs has raised over £800. It can be donated to at https://bit.ly/44z95UN.
Karen's step daughter, Jade Jones, paid a touching tribute to her.
"She was a massive part of the community and loved by so many, her passing has left friends and family heartbroken," Jade said.
"She loved helping everyone and was the kindest and most caring woman you could meet - she didn't have a bad bone in her body.
"She was always smiling and laughing and loved her family dearly."
Dozens of people paid tribute after news of her passing was shared on social media.
They described her as a "gorgeous woman inside and out", and a "truly lovely woman" who had "the biggest, caring heart".
Karen's fineral is being held on September 14 at Wrexham Crematorium at 2.30pm.
Jade added: "We will miss her very much and her memories will stay with us forever.
