CRUEL vandals set a postbox topper in Flintshire on fire, police have said.
North Wales Police is investigating the damage to the postbox topper on King Edward Street in Shotton.
Police said it was lit on fire and and are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

PCSO Thomas Maddocks said: "If you know anything about the damage, then please report whatever you know. You can report this via Crimestoppers anonymously or by calling 101.
"People spend a lot of time and effort making the toppers and they don't get any money for it. It brightens up our communities.
"Damaging them is not only a crime, it spoils the community."
