Here is what the forecast is looking like this bank holiday weekend for Wrexham and Flintshire.
The Met Office has predicted sunshine and showers across Wales today (Friday, August 25) and the rest of this bank holiday is not looking likely that this will change.
Tonight, the Met Office predicts: “The chance of showers continues this evening and overnight. Some of these will remain heavy with a low chance of the odd thunderstorm. Breezy at times on the coasts. Minimum temperature 10 °C.”
Looking to Saturday, the Met Office has predicted a “rather cool” day for late August, with a “possibility of thunder”.

The full forecast for Saturday is: “Often dry and bright to start the day, but scattered showers developing, these heavy with a possibility of thunder. Rather cool for late August, but feeling reasonable in any sunshine. Maximum temperature 19 °C.”
The outlook for Sunday to Tuesday predicts possible rain on Sunday (August 27) but looking to be warmer on Bank Holiday Monday before more showery rain on Tuesday.
The Met Office predicts: “Bright to start Sunday, then clouding over with some rain possible later. Warmer and brighter on Monday with sunny spells. Further showery rain arriving on Tuesday. Breezy at times”.
