POLICE are appealing to the public for information following reports of an assault in Wrexham on Wednesday.
During his daily police update, Inspector Luke Hughes of Wrexham City Police asked the public for their help following the incident in Bellevue Park.
It is reported to have occurred near to 4pm on Wednesday (August 23).
Insp Hughes appealed for any information.
He said: "Report of a female assaulted in Bellevue Park, offence appears to have occurred at around 4pm, a lone male involved.
"Were you in the park at the time, did you see anything suspicious?
"Please contact and quote A135249."
