OFFICERS are renewing their appeal for information to help locate a Flintshire man who has now been missing for over a week.
Brian Hughes was last seen leaving the Countess of Chester Hospital at 6.10am on Thursday, August 17.
He has not been seen by anyone since leaving the hospital and officers are extremely concerned for his welfare.
The 44-year-old is described as white, around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build and with a shaved head.
He was last seen wearing a black/grey sweatshirt, black jogging bottoms, black Adidas trainers and a black baseball cap with a silver Nike tick.
Brian resides in Connah’s Quay and he has links to a number of areas including Staffordshire, Essex and Kent.
Police are urging anyone who sees Brian or has any information regarding his whereabouts to get in touch.
Inspector Mat Beale, of Chester Local Policing team, said: “It’s now been over a week since Brian was last sighted and his family are really worried about him.
“Since his disappearance we’ve been conducting several enquiries, including a number of searches across the local area, but so far we’ve not had any further sightings of Brian.
“As part of our investigation we’re urging anyone who thinks that they may have seen Brian, or anyone matching his description, to get in touch with us.
“I would also ask residents in the local area to review any CCTV or ring doorbells, to see if they have any footage of Brian. I’m specifically urging people to check their cameras between 6.30am and 8am on Thursday 17 August to establish Brian's movements after leaving the hospital.
“The same goes for anyone with any dashcam footage which may aid our investigation.
“I would also like to appeal directly to Brian, please call us and let us know that you are OK, your family are worried about you and want you home."
- Anyone with information or footage that may help officers find Brian is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary immediately on 101, quoting IML 1622749.
