WREXHAM's very own Declan Swans featured on ITV's 'This Morning' to discuss all things Rob, Ryan and Wrexham.
After being together for more than 20 years, the iconic North Wales band joined the 'This Morning' sofa to talk about their whirlwind journey to new found fame, all thanks to the Hollywood duo.
Hosts Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes introduced the foursome as "Wrexham's finest and now international indie band."
Captioned as 'It's Ryan Reynolds new favourite band', Michael Hett, Mark Jones, Ben Jones and Mike Revill discussed how things have changed for them in the past two years.
Their song 'It's Always Sunny in Wrexham', released in 2020, featured in the Disney+ 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary which looks behind the scenes at stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's takeover of Wrexham AFC.
Absolutely amazing! Thank you! @thismorning

It has since transformed them from a local Wrexham band performing gigs in their local pub to gaining worldwide recognition and performing in venues across the pond.
Michael, lead singer of the Declan Swans, said: "We've hit the jackpot" when asked about the moment Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over the AFC club.
Mark added: "Two years down the line, everything they've promised, they've delivered."
The band supported Kings of Leon earlier this summer at The Racecourse which Mike Revill, band bass player, admitted was "a dream come true."
The band reflected on the moment they met the American duo for the first time at The Turf pub after Ryan had shared one of their songs on the platform TikTok.

After that, their streams went "to millions in minutes", said Michael, before Mark confirmed "You couldn't meet two nicer people" when asked about what it's like to work with the pair who have been adopted as locals by the Wrexham community.
Host Rochelle described the scenario as a fairytale, especially for the band who are reaching international audiences.
The original concept of the band was to turn Michael's poetry into catchy and humorous tunes.
They could never have imagined what would happen next.
