A FUNDRAISER has been set up to help support a 'selfless' and 'dedicated' Wrexham poet and musician recover following a stroke.
Evrah Rose first began writing when she was around eight-years-old, as a way of dealing with any 'worries' and 'difficult experiences'.
Over the years, the 34-year-old has taken inspiration from the likes of Eminem and 2Pac to Maya Angelou and Kae Tempest to become a well-respected poet, musician and writer.
Back in April, Evrah released her spoken word EP 'Kind Regards:The Reworks' in collaboration with the New Sinfonia orchestra, who are also based in Wrexham.
However, she has also been battling with health issues in the meantime.
Evrah lives with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome - a condition which affects your skin, joints and blood vessel walls - and just recently discovered she also has a hole in her heart.
She also suffered a stroke just last week - something which has led to those around her to rally in support.

A fundraiser with a target of £1,000 has been set up in order to help Evrah in her recovery from the stroke.
The money raised will be used to help her access private health care and treatment.
At the time of writing, over £650 had already been collected via the fundraising page.
Fundraiser organiser and friend Steve Cusack set up a new record label Red Roach alongside Evrah earlier this year in a bid to help local talent find stardom.
Steve said: "I met Evrah Rose some time after working on a documentary in Wrexham. I initially started to assist Evrah with her music before agreeing to manage her career as a street poet.
"During this time, I became very familiar of her selfless and dedicated character to help many others, depsite the personal struggles she had to endure the whole time.
"What I could see was that this ability to support others was also a way for Evrah to put aside her own worries and personal circumstances to maintain a kind of norm and equally just to see other people's lives improve.
"Most recently, we decided to launch a record label together and I have to tell you all that it has been a long time since I witnessed passion and authenticity towards artist development at this level. All of our artists are really happy to work with her and she is literally on top of everything.
"Sadly, more recently, Evrah's health has declined. Although she has Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome she has also recently discovered that she has a hole in her heart and has also suffered a stroke last week.
"My concern is that someone who is an absolute asset to the community of Wrexham could deteriorate without speedy treatment and due to waiting times, this could hinder a desired outcome.
"As a result, I am hoping to raise some money for Evrah to afford some private care to further along her diagnosis, treatment and recovery to get her back to doing what keeps her happy... helping others."
