Ruabon Post Office has opened at a new, nearby location today (Tuesday, Augst 15) restoring service to the village.
The new location is Ruabon Discount Stores, New High Street, and moved following the resignation of the previous operator and the closure of the McColl’s, at 1A New High Street in January.
There is a Post Office counter alongside the retail counter of the general household store.
The Post Office opening hours are: Monday to Friday: 8am – 6pm; Saturday: 9am – 5.30pm; Sunday: 10am – 4pm.

This provides 64 hours and 30 minutes of Post Office service a week.
The same range of Post Office products and services continue to be available.
Carol Williams, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to have restored a Post Office to this area as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.
"The branch’s opening hours will make it easy for customers to visit.”
During consultation, the community welcomed the return of the Post Office.
