A SIX-part comedy series that was filmed in North Wales will air on BBC2 this week.
Henpocalypse! centres around five women; the women are out celebrating bride-to-be Zara's engagement when celebrations are interrupted by "the end of the world".
Scenes for series were filmed in and around Abergele in February. Filming took place in Llanfair TH. This took in Olivia's, the Post Office and around School Lane and The Black Lion pub was used as a backdrop.
Scenes were also filmed in Moel Famau.
The sitcom has been produced by production company Various Artists Limited and was written by Caroline Moran (Hullraisers, Raised by Wolves).
A description of the BB2 programme, described as a "deliciously daft comedy", says: "It's your typical rowdy hen do - before the fun's derailed by the apocalypse. Armed with feather boas and chocolate penises, can they survive armageddon?"
A further description on IMDb reads: "Henpocalypse! Takes five women who headed out on a weekend of a lifetime to celebrate Zara's engagement only to be interrupted by the end of the world. They subsequently have to wait it out in an isolated holiday cottage in Wales and, emerging from quarantine into the harsh new post-apocalyptic world, find the male population has almost entirely been wiped out."

Residents and businesses in Llanfair TH, near Abergele, were sent letters ahead of filming earlier this year.
The letter stated: "Various Artists Limited is preparing for filming of Henpocalypse! Filming in Abergele and throughout North Wales and have agreed with several businesses to come film around Llanfair Talhaiarn.
"The scenes will be the hen's walking around a newly deserted apocalypse town finding security in a pharmacy."
Filming also took place at Moel Famau, in the Clwydian Range, which lies on the boundary between Denbighshire and Flintshire, in March.
Marcus Roberts, of MPR Photography, visited the beauty spot and snapped photos of a number of trailers. Branding for Location Logistics 'TV, Film and Event Support' was visible.
Henpocalypse! will air on BBC2 on August 15 at 10pm.
