POLICE in Wrexham received a 999 call from a woman complaining about the quality of fried chicken she had at a restaurant in southern England.
In his Wrexham police update covering Wednesday and Thursday morning, inspector Luke Hughes said: "Call from a female on 999 stating she wants to make a compliant about the quality of the fried chicken she had at a location in Kent recently.
"There is nothing worse than soggy chicken, but I’m pretty sure it's not a police matter. Advised accordingly."
Other incidents police dealt with are as follows:
8.33am – Wanted male sighted by CCTV on Rhosddu Road – arrested and charged with theft offence.
9.47am - Report of a damaged bus window. Inspector Hughes said: "Late reporting and appears to have happened the night before, I am linking this to the ongoing issues."

12pm – Shoplifting – 14 jars of coffee stolen from a location on Holt Road – stolen for resale, suspect described as between 40/50 years old, CCTV enquiries pending.
2.59pm – "Disruptive" customer in a chemist on Holt Road. Inspector Hughes said: "Officers attend to calm matters and it will be followed up in due course."
4.42pm – Concerns for a male who appears to be living in a vehicle with his dog in the area of Pentre Gwyn. Inspector Hughes said: "Officers attend and assess, we have had further reports since and will continue to offer support."
6.17pm – Three young females steal low value items from a shop on Lord Street, likely linked to the ASB in the area. Inspector Hughes said: "CCTV will be reviewed as I think this isn’t the first offence of this nature, they appear to be arrogantly helping themselves as they see fit. Have some respect - you will be ashamed of yourself when you are more mature."
10.51pm – Cardboard set alight at the rear of a shop on Island Green – CCTV has identified suspects and "positive" action to be taken.
