THE EMERGENCY services are dealing with a "serious" house fire in Flintshire this evening.
North Wales Police has said officers are assisting North Wales Fire and Rescue Service as it deals with a large fire near the Festival Gardens on the High Street in Connah's Quay.
As a result the road has been closed - and police are urging people to avoid the area.
Connah's Quay councillor Bernie Attridge said: "Connah's Quay High Street is closed due to a serious house fire. Myself and Debbie Owen have been made aware as local members and will do what ever we need to do once we get an update."
