A PETITION has been launched in Holywell to create a mural dedicated to some of the town's heroes.
Local resident Hope Davies has set up a petition called 'Honouring Holywell's Heroes', aiming to create an 'epic mural of local entertainment legends'.
Hope is dreaming of artwork which would celebrate the achievements of local heroes like TV presenter Gaz Top, actor Sir Jonathan Pryce and West End star Seren Sandham-Davies.
It is hoped that, with enough signatures, the petiton can get off the ground and the mural can be created in the 'heart of Holywell'.
The petition - which can be found here - has already gathered just shy of one-hundred signatures.
Posting on the Change.org page, Hope wrote: "Right, I'm dead keen on getting something solid sorted about this idea that's been floating around for yonks now.
"I'm talking about an absolute cracker of a painted mural, right in the heart of Holywell, giving props to our local legends of arts and entertainment who've given us all the feels!"

Hope added: "Picture yourself strolling through town, and BOOM! There's Jonathan Pryce, that actor who's taken us on magical journeys with his performances. And right alongside him, we've got Gaz Top, the TV presenter who's been our childhood hero, making science and tech way too cool to ignore.
"And let's not forget Seren Sandham-Davies, smashing it in the West End. Jennifer Toye and Dotty Miles absolutely deserve a spot too. And on the music side, we've gotta make room for Ted and the Cheesecutters, entertaining the whole area for donkey's years.
"There are loads of folks from Holywell who've rocked the arts, but they don't always get the credit they're due. But hey, that's just the tip of the iceberg! We've got more stars to honor than there are seagulls on our coast!
"So, here's the scoop: I need YOUR help, folks! This mural ain't just gonna spring out of thin air. We want your thoughts, your ideas, your passion for the local heroes who've made their mark on our town.
"Drop your comments below, and let us know who YOU reckon should be front and center on this epic artwork. Singers, dancers, writers, comedians – if they've sprinkled Holywell magic across the world, they've gotta have a spot!"
Residents are also invited to give suggestions as to where they think the mural should be placed, should it go ahead.
Hope added: "In the town square, where folks gather for a good ol' chinwag? Or maybe facing Tower Gardens, so it can add a dash of pizzazz to the view? And hey, that wall by Tesco could do with a makeover, don't you reckon? Give us your thoughts, 'cause we're all ears!
"And fear not, we won't leave you hanging! Once we've got all your fab suggestions, we'll pass 'em on to the town council. They've got the final say, but they know they can't ignore the voice of the people – that's YOU!
"So, come on, Holywell! Let's whip up a mural that celebrates our very own stars, that bursts with creativity and makes our town centre shine like a diamond."
