WREXHAM AFC has thanked fans for the 'fantastic support' they showed during the club's first midweek match of the season.
The Reds were beaten 5-3 by MK Dons in their first League Two match in 15 years on Saturday (August 5).
But, three days later, Phil Parkinson's side bounced back as they advanced to the second round of the Carabao Cup.
Following a 0-0 draw, Wrexham went on to win 4-2 on penalties against Wigan Athletic - who play one league above them.
As always, the support shown for the team was nothing short of incredible - espeically when you consider it was a midweek match.
