A FLINTSHIRE junior football have raised over £1000 through a sponsored walk.
Hawarden Rangers under 6's finished their 22/23 season on a high by completing a sponsored walk up Moel Famau.
The walk was completed last Sunday (July 30) to raise money for kits and equipment for the upcoming 23/24 season.
The initial target for the sponsored walk was to raise £500, but the generosity of families, friends, local companies and the community have seen Hawarden Rangers impressively raise over £1,100.
The group of 19 boys had an incredible first season together which saw the team work hard, grow in confidence, win tournamnets but most importantly always having a smile on their faces and creating friendships that will last a lifetime.
