A WREXHAM AFC-inspired mural is set to be unveiled ahead of the club's return to League Two this weekend.
As the Reds prepare for their much-anticipated return to the Football League, work is ongoing on a new piece of artwork in the town centre.
Ahead of the World Cup late last year, a Welsh football mural was painted onto the side of the Fat Boar in Wrexham by local artist Liam Stokes-Massey.
The artwork, featuring Gareth Bale and local lads Neco Williams and Harry Wilson proved a hit amongst football fans in the area.
Now a new mural is underway ready for the Reds' return to League Two.
After receiving a call from Fat Boar owner Rich Watkin, Liam has once again been tasked with completing the work.

While he didn't want to give away the final design completely, he did hint that it was featuring a current Wrexham player.
Liam said: "Everyone involved in financing the World Cup one decided that it had served its purpose.
"Rich then messaged me asking if I could do something new for the start of the season.
"It is Wrexham related, but I'm not wanting to give too much away, so fans can see for themselves on Saturday.
"The scaffolding went up last Wednesday, I've had to sand the whole wall and paint it back to normal which took four cans of white paint!
"The weather hasn't helped, but Paul Davies, a local Wrexham fan was a godsend as he turned up with a load of tarpaulin, so we're pretty much ready to go now."
