WREXHAM co-owner Rob McElhenney has confirmed he will be at the Racecourse on Saturday for the Reds Football League return.

Phil Parkinson's men will get their League Two campaign underway at the weekend against MK Dons and Rob will definitely be there to see it.

After a record-breaking campaign in the National League, where the Reds amassed 111 points, expectations are high once again.

Wrexham are the favourites for the League Two title and are odds on to gain promotion to League One.

Saturday's clash against the Dons is expected to be a sell-out, with a packed-out Racecourse Ground once again ready for League Two football after 15 long years.

Wrexham fans will be joined by Always Sunny star Rob, who confirmed he would be at the game via a video with a special guest.

He said: "So I'm about to take off from LA to get a flight to go see Wrexham's first game back in the league at home.

"I think it's going to be a tight one against MK Dons, they're a good squad and obviously, we're hoping for the best, very excited.

"Up the town."

Paul Mullin is currently staying with Rob in America while he recovers from the punctured lung suffered in the Reds' 3-1 win over Manchester United on their pre-season tour.

Reds fans will certainly be hoping to see their main man back on the pitch sooner rather than later.

Co-owner Ryan Reynolds is currently filming Deadpool 3 in the UK, so there is a possibility that both owners will be at Saturday's game, but Ryan hasn't confirmed it yet.
