CONCERNS continue to be raised over the 'dangerous' proposal that would see fire service cuts across north Wales.
Earlier this month (July 17) the Fire and Rescue Authority proposed three options in an attempt to cut costs and improve emergency cover in the region.
The three proposals include the controversial plans to cut a fire engine in Wrexham, which was met with strong opposition when suggested in 2017.
It would also lead to the cutting of 24 jobs at the station.
Campaigners have vowed to fight the potential cuts in Wrexham, just as they did six years ago.
Now those close to the fire station in Wrexham have compiled a document highlighting the issues with the proposals.

Currently, the crew in Wrexham deal with over five incidents per day, which equates to 1,572 per year, in addition to a large volume of community work.
That is almost double the nearest station across Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire, with Deeside the next highest at 867.
Cuts to one fire engine and 24 jobs would significantly affect the ability to respond to all those calls.
Those close to Wrexham fire station also highlight the proposed development in the area in the next few years, including plans for the industrial estate, LDP and Gateway project.
Summarising the proposed cuts, a statement said: "Fundamentally, by any criteria and barometer of measurement, the size and risk profile of Wrexham justifies the current level of operational fire cover and does not justify large scale cuts.
"Furthermore, this risk profile and size are just being added to; the Wrexham area could easily reach a population of 200,000 within the next five years. All of this simply cannot be covered by one wholetime appliance and crew.
"These are exciting times for Wrexham; Wrexham is on a positive upward trajectory as an area, yet these reductionist proposals that slash fire cover for the area are the antithesis of this and a threat to the safety and prosperity of all the residents and businesses that inhabit the region.
"The proposals must be called into question at this stage before it’s too late, please express your concerns regarding the proposals in the questionnaire attached in order to protect our region from more dangerous cuts in our public services."
