WREXHAM AFC co-chairman Rob McElhenney has revealed that Paul Mullin will be staying with him for a 'couple of weeks' as he recovers from injury.
The Reds' star man suffered a punctured lung during a 3-0 win over a youthful Manchester United side last week.
A clash with goalkeeper Nathan Bishop left Mullin writhing around on the floor and needing an oxygen mask.
He later updated fans from his hospital bed at the UC San Diego Health Hospital, before being discharged soon after.
No timeline has been given for how long Mullin will be out of action for, but he is expected to miss at least the first few weeks of Wrexham's new season which starts at home to MK Dons on Saturday (August 5).
In an interview with S4C, Rob - who co-owns the club with fellow actor and friend Ryan Reynolds- revealed that Mullin would be staying with him for 'a couple of weeks'.

Speaking to S4C's Maxine Hughes, Rob said: "This Paul thing is devastating to the club but, again, it's a contact sport and these things happen.
"He's okay, I just texted with him this morning. He's in San Diego and he's going to come over and stay with us for a couple of weeks until he can leave and head back to Wales."
Talking about what it means to see the club tour the USA - and his hometown of Philadelphia - he added: "This is truly a dream come true. It's just profoundly humbling."
Wrexham's tour of the USA saw them take on Chelsea (5-0 defeat) in North Carolina, beat LA Galaxy II 4-0 in Los Angeles, beat Manchester United 3-0 in San Diego and draw 1-1 with Philadelphia Union II in Philly.
The club's 15-year wait to return to the English Football League comes to an end in that clash v MK Dons on Saturday.
No doubt the Racecourse will be bouncing for that one - but will we see Rob and Ryan there?
