A DEESIDE pet shop has come up with the 'paw-some' idea of introducing an inside play area for its furry friends to enjoy.
Following requests from its customers, the Pups, Pets & Ponies team has decided to set up an off-lead area inside its shop for pets to run around and enjoy themselves.
That means that pets can come in to play no matter the weather at the shop, which is based at Deeside Industrial Park.
Store owner Victoria Clay said: "After months of our lovely customers asking us to set up an off lead indoor play area for their dogs to enjoy instore, we are so excited to have now set up Paws & Play, 900sqft of safe space!
"Come rain or shine this is a perfect way to keep your dogs out of the heat with our cool air conditioned space, or keep those paws dry on wet days and avoid the soggy doggy drama."

Victoria added: "We will soon be taking bookings for Xmas parties and of course have our annual Santa Paws events with a new playtime twist.
"A weekly timetable with prices is available to view on our Facebook and Instagram pages detailing all of our events including; Breed Meets, Puppy Playdates, Open Play and Private hire slots.

"We also have our dog friendly coffee shop with a wide menu choice for Humans and Hounds to enjoy. Perfect to relax after a good play."
The Pups, Pets & Ponies team was previously located at Dobshill Garage before it re-located to the industrial estate two years ago.
