PLANS have been submitted to breathe new life into a derelict town centre garage.
A planning application submitted to Flintshire Council is proposing to use Harleys Garage, on Chester Street in Mold, as a 24-hour taxi office.
The scheme would include provision for the parking of four cars at the rear of the building, as well as the erection of a 10-metre communication mast.
It would be used solely by employees and drivers and be open seven days a week.

Harley's Garage, which backs on to Tesco, has been closed for a number of decades and has fallen into dereliction having once been a petrol station.
It has since been used as a taxi booking office until September 2020.
If given the go-ahead, the scheme would create six full-time jobs.
The application will now be considered by Flintshire Council's planning officers and be decided on at a later date.
