WREXHAM Museum and the future Football Museum Wales team are set to host guided tours.
The Football Heritage Tour of Wrexham, a guided tour, is a walk through the streets of Wrexham that will take residents to some of the most iconic and recognisable places in the city and connects the dots between landmarks, football and community.
There will be three initial tours to take place on Monday, July, 31, and more to follow over the summer.
The tours have been organised by the Football Museum Team at Wrexham Museum.
Building work for the Museum is set to commence at the end of the year and will exist alongside a fully refurbished Wrexham Museum inside the same building.
It will give those who attend a look at the people, places and events that shaped football in Wrexham and across the whole of Wales.
Councillor Paul Roberts, lead member for partnerships and community safety, said: "We are delighted to announce the first dates for our Football Heritage Tour of Wrexham - 'the spiritual home of Welsh football.'
"Whether you're visiting Wrexham or you live locally, this is a wonderful way to explore the city centre, visiting some of our most famous landmarks and discovering more about our rich football heritage and the places and people that shaped football in Wrexham over the last 150 years.
"The team 'Museum of Two Halves' project team at Wrexham Museum have done a fantastic job putting the tour together and I would highly recommend booking a place. Following these first initial tours, we hope to be announcing more dates over the summer."
Those who attend the tour must be aged 12+ and comfortable/sensible footwear is advisable. More information can be found HERE.

The history of football in Wrexham is a story that started over 150 years ago with local people at the centre.
The tour aims to introduce you to these people from all those years ago and make sure that their stories remain at the beating heart of Wrexham's history as the birthplace of Welsh football.
The tour will be delivered in English. A Welsh language tour is also available.
