AN ICONIC Deeside pub could be set to be demolished.
A planning application has been submitted to flatten The Leprechaun pub on Welsh Road in Garden City.
The pub, which sits just off the B5441/A494 Drome corner roundabout, closed down during the Covid pandemic.

The pub is owned by Corbett Bookmakers which has submitted the application to demolish - which the application states it hopes to do in September.
The application will now be considered by Flintshire Council's planning department and a decision made a later date.
There is no indication at this stage on what the plans are for the site if the application to demolish the pub is given the go-ahead.
