THE A483 near Wrexham has been closed in both directions due to a 'police incident'. 

Traffic Wales confirmed that the dual carriageway has been shut both ways betwen J6 Gresford and J7 Rossett. 

Motorists are warned to expect delays in the area. 

Traffic maps show that congestion is building in the area, both on the A483 and at Gresford roundabout. 

Traffic Wales confirmed that the road reopened shortly after 2.30pm. 

North Wales Police have been approached for a comment.
