A FLINTSHIRE pub is hosting a fun day in memory of a popular musician who died suddenly.
Liam Mayne, from Flint, tragically died last month - aged just 33.
Liam, known as 'Willow', was a talented musician, who played in a band.
On Saturday, August 5, the George & Dragon pub in Flint will be hosting a family fun day in Liam's memory.
The event will begin at 2pm and there will be live music throughout the day, with Liam's old band, The Tuning, re-forming for a one-off gig in his memory.
And there will be children's inflatables, a raffle and much more. It is raising money towards getting a headstone at Liam's grave.
Pub landlady, Lynda Leigh, said: "I’m very proud to be hosting a fundraiser with Nik Lloyd and Adam Leigh at our community pub."
She said Liam "is missed by many and was such a big character" adding: "He never failed to make me smile with his cheeky grin.
"He had a large group of friends so we want this day to be a celebration of his tragically short life. RIP, Willow."
