PIGS on the loose in a Wrexham village were seen making a mess of a garden.
The animals had escaped from a nearby field in Rhos when they were seen churning up the grass outside a block of flats on Maes-Y-Gornel on Thursday evening.
Pigs root up the soil to find minerals or food, like bugs and roots. They also dig holes to wallow in the mud.
But the pesky pigs are said to be very friendly, and enjoy being fussed over.
Maes-Y-Gornel resident, Rhiannon Williams, said: "I was making tea and my daughter's friend came up and said ‘there’s pigs outside’. I couldn’t believe it when I got down there.
"I don’t know who their owner is, but they’re kept on land at the bottom on Llwyn Einion Road, which is just round the corner from where I live.
"They’ve escaped before. They were very friendly and were coming over for a fuss."
