A SUCCESSFUL fundraising event was hosted at Bellis Brothers raising an incredible total for a wonderful cause.
Bellis’ has been supporting Nightingale House for over 16 years, raising a wonderful total of £161,309.12 during this time.
They recently held a Musical Evening in their Strawberry Fields Restaurant with wonderful performances from Wrexham’s Choirs for Good and Farndon and District Brass Band.
A fantastic amount of £1,651 was raised on the evening for the hospice.
The weather was perfect with many guests choosing to sit out on the patio to enjoy the entertainment and take in the magnificent views of the Welsh Hills.
The event was kindly supported by other local businesses.
A fizz welcoming reception was sponsored by Lindop Toyota. Wrexham Lager kindly donated a case of their lager and delicious nibbles were provided by Castell Howell Foods.

Lucy Stuchbury, events co-ordinator, said: "We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who joined us last Friday evening at our fundraising event for Nightingale House Hospice.
"Thank you to all our performers, sponsors and guests, including Choirs for Good and Farndon and District Brass Band. A very enjoyable evening was had by all!"
The money will go towards the hospice which provides specialist palliative care services for those with life-limiting illnesses, supporting patients as well as their families.
