The family of a man who died following a road traffic collision in Wrexham during the early hours of yesterday morning (Monday, July 17) have paid tribute to him.
Ryan Anthony Bagnall was 26-years-old and came from the Gwersyllt area.
North Wales Police were called at 2.21am on Monday along with the Welsh Ambulance Service and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
Both the male driver and female passenger were taken to the Wrexham Maelor by ambulance.
Sadly, Mr Bagnall died shortly after arriving at the hospital. The female passenger remains in hospital in Stoke with significant injuries.
His family paid the following tribute: “Ryan was a caring and loveable rogue. He was a devoted Dad to his two girls and he’ll be missed by all his family and friends. We now ask for privacy whilst we grieve.”
Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision, involving a white Vauxhall Corsa which collided with the front window of Gerrards Bakery on Ruthin Road shortly after 2am.
Sergeant Steve Richards of the Roads Policing Unit said: “Despite this collision happening during the early hours, we continue to urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have dash cam or CCTV footage to contact us.”
