A PERSON was taken to hospital following a house fire in a Flintshire town yesterday evening (July 17).
The fire took place at an address on Wat's Dyke Avenue in Holywell at around 6.30pm.
The cause of the blaze is now under investgation, the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service has said.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene and taken to hospital.

The whole of the first floor of the house suffered smoke damage, according to the fire service.
A spokesperson said: "We were called to a house on Wats Dyke Avenue, Holywell, Flintshire at 6.31pm.
"The cause of the fire is unknown at present and is under investigation. One casualty was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
"The fire caused 75 per cent fire damage to the room of origin and 100 per cent smoke damage to the whole first floor."
