THE OWNER of a chicken wings restaurant in Wrexham has thanked people for their support as he nears a year in business.
The Wing King, based inside Ty Pawb, opened its doors in August 2022.
Prior to starting the business, owner, Andrew Boycott, was a chef for 23 years at various establishments in Chester - most recently at The Gathering restaurant.
When launching the The Wing King, Andrew promised to deliver "the perfect chicken wing".
He said: "Since opening in August last year the business has grown far more than I expected, the traders in Ty Pawb have been very welcoming and the support from the management has been superb.
"I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the local community and the support they have given, hopefully the next 12 months will see further growth in Ty Pawb and possible further expansion.
"The next main aim is to try and get Ty Pawb open later into the evenings, with a new incoming operations manager hopefully this will be achieved."
The Wing King has gone down a treat with people in Wrexham.
After it recently posted on Facebook about a new item on the menu, one person replied: "Literally the best thing I've ever tasted and I've had everything off the menu. Never disappointed."
