A WELCOME to Wrexham mural has been painted in an eastern European city.

The mural has been daubed over a building in Warsaw, Poland's capital city.

Łukasz Bogumił, who tweeted a video of the mural being painted, said: "Wrexham is becoming one of the most known teams in the world!"

Wrexham fans reacted to the video, describing it as "surreal".

One person tweeted: "If you told me this was going to happen today 10 years ago I would think you were crazy. But it is really weird being a Wrexham fan now."

Another described it as "ridiculously incredible".

Wrexham AFC have touched down on US soil for their pre-season tour. The Reds will play against Premier League gianta Manchester United and Chelsea in North Carolina.

The season is fast approaching, with Wrexham to host MK Dons in their first game back in the EFL for 15 years.

They then travel to AFC Wimbledon before welcoming Walsall to The Racecourse.

In between the first and second league games, Wigan Athletic visit The Racecourse in the EFL Cup.
