Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse is getting set to rock you in September, with a musical tribute to Queen taking place after racing.
Bringing the iconic band’s much-loved hits and anthems to the only racecourse in North Wales, Flash: A Tribute To Queen will be putting on a performance at The September Meeting on Tuesday, September 5.
Once quoted by the BBC for being ‘as close as it gets’ to the original band, Flash features some of the finest musicians from several Queen tribute shows, established in 2001 to capture the unique style and energy of the legendary group.
The addition of the popular act backs up what is already an exciting afternoon of racing at The September Meeting, featuring six jumps races on the card prior to the evening’s entertainment.
Patrick Chesters, general manager at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse, said: “The September Meeting is ideal for those who want it all - a great line-up of racing, music and entertainment!
