A man is to be sentenced after admitting that he assaulted a police officer.
Thomas Jones, of Ffordd Lerry in Wrexham, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Monday Morning.
The 24-year-old admitted that on May 21 at Wrexham, he assaulted Nathan Hosie, a police officer who was acting in the exercise of his functions as an emergency worker.

Prosecutor Justin Espie told the court: "The assault allegation is clearly serious when it is against an emergency worker.
"It's a punch to the nose, with no visible injuries.
"But looking at the defendant's record, he is in breach of a Crown Court suspended sentence - it should be sent to the Crown Court for sentence."
Emma Simoes, defending, agreed - as did the Magistrates.
Jones will appear at Mold Crown Court for sentence on August 3.
