A WOMAN was arrested for numerous alleged motoring offences after a police pursuit in Wrexham.
North Wales Police's Roads Policing Unit said one of its officers pulled behind a vehicle due to "poor driving" overnight in the Wrexham area.
The Roads Unit said: "Upon requesting the vehicle to stop it decided to do the old trick of turning its lights out in the hope we wouldn’t see it. Funny enough the officer didn’t lose it and a short pursuit followed.
"The vehicle gave the officer the run around for a short time as it went around the town centre."
The vehicle finally came to a stop on Kingsmills Road, and the female driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, no insurance, disqualified driving, dangerous driving and failing to stop.
