TWO people were taken to hospital following a Road Traffic Collision on the A55 in Flintshire.
The RTC occurred on the westbound carriageway near Dobshill and Ewloe at around 7pm on Friday (July 7)
Police closed the road while emergency services attended the scene.
There was very heavy traffic in the area, with motorists being diverted off near Dobshill.
The Welsh Ambulance Service was in attendance and confirmed that two patients have been conveyed to hospital.
A spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of an RTC on the A55 at 6.55pm.
"We sent four emergency ambulances, an operational manager and two high-acuity response vehicles.
"One patient has been conveyed to the Wrexham Maelor, while one has been conveyed to the Countess."
The road was closed by police for around two hours.
