BRYMBO Heritage is gearing up for its Open Day this weekend taking people on a historical journey of the area.
The Brymbo Heritage Trust will be holding free guided tours from 11am - 4pm made up of the 4x4 Heritage Tour, Fossil Forest Walking Tour and back for July, the Heritage Walking Tour.
Visitors will get to learn about the 314 Million-year-old Fossil Forest and the area’s industrial heritage which covers the Iron and Steelworks.
Brymbo Heritage Open Day will be held on Sunday, July 9, and there are limited spaces on the tours, so booking in advance is recommended.

They will have an outdoor cafe area with refreshments on the go with a small offering of food, snacks and hot and cold drinks.
There will also be stalls, including some of the trust’s internal groups like the Brymbo Heritage Orchard Project and Brymbo Heritage - Roots To Shoots Play Development Team.
There will also be the latest updates from the Heritage Project stand.
