Men jailed after drugs conspiracy between Liverpool and Wrexham gangs
These defendants have each been handed a lengthy jail term after they were convicted for their part in a conspiracy involving several criminal gangs.
A court heard the value of all drugs seized came to between £1.7m and £2.3m.

Man jailed for 11 years for killing driver in suicide attempt
A court heard this man drove his black Nissan Qashqai into a deliberate head-on collision with a white Nissan Juke on the bridge over the Ceiriog River.
"You gave no thought to others," a Judge told him, "so self-absorbed you were at the time."

Fine for Bagillt man who breach suspended sentence
This man was previously sentenced to a six-month sentence, suspended for 18 months for money laundering offences.
That involved being part of an enterprise which swindled two pensioners out of £17,700 and £61,800 respectively through work done to their properties.
He found himself back before the court for breaching the suspended sentence order.

Woman told to stay off the road for over four years after flouting driving ban
This woman was stopped after her vehicle was seen swerving from one side of the road to the other.
Just seven months before the incident, she'd been banned for a similar offence.

"Extremely foolish" man loses licence after being caught drink-driving
A court heard this defendant was stopped in Wrexham after police received information about him.
He "smelled heavily of intoxicant" and admitted to having consumed alcohol some hours prior to driving.

Drug-drive teen loses licence after police caught him in Wrexham
This defendant was spotted by police leaving the Caia Park area and was stopped.
He was more than three times the limit for cannabis, and almost three times the limit for another drug.
His defending solicitor told the court the defendant had developed a condition "akin to Tourette's" which affected his consequential thinking.
